Jil Sander presented her first collection in 1973. With their clean, minimalist design codes, Sander’s clothes stood out in stark contrast with the fashions of that time and became an instant success. It was during the 90s though – the minimalist decade – that the designer’s success truly peaked. The brand’s current creative director Rodolfo Paglialung is beautifully refreshing that signature androgynous DNA and steering it to the top of every cool girl’s wish list.
