Michael Kors unveiled the Fall-Winter 2018/19 campaigns for his Michael Kors Collection, MICHAEL Michael Kors and Michael Kors Men lines.
For the main collection, the brand wanted to capture the “the relaxed attitude that is today’s answer to jet set glamour,” explains Michael Kors. Shot in a flying jet, the international well known model, Bix Walton, who combines glamour and comfort, is the star of the campaign. With Mario Testino facing the sexual misconduct, the Dutch photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin took the charge of the photography content. “Inez and Vinoodh, with their love of travel and fashion, were the perfect collaborators for this Fall campaign”, says Kors.
New York city was the perfect place for the MICHAEL Michael Kors and Michael Kors Men campaigns. The models Andreea Diaconu and Baptiste Radufe were captured during a daily-life in the city that never sleeps by the lens of Lachlan Bailey, a photographer that is also working for the first time with the American house. “There’s a wonderful naturalness and immediacy to Lachlan’s pictures that made him the right choice to tell this story”, explains Kors.
The campaigns will be launched this month on digital outlets, social media platforms, and in traditional outdoor media placement.
