Versace and its longest advertising image campaign ever made.

Versace does history for the upcoming AW 2018. The italian house decided to do something a little bit different than usual by shooting the longest advertising image campaign ever made, with a total of fifty-four models from around the world.

The campaign, called “The Clans of Versace”, puts inclusivity in first place. In a press release  we can read that the images are “a true representation of clans that embody everything Versace stands for — diversity expressed together with innovation in the fearless representation of what it means to be daring.”

The designer, Donatella Versace, goes deeper in how these women represent the brands DNA. “My team doesn’t just extend to my work team. The Versace Clans are made of all members of the Versace family – from customers to models, fans, photographers, stylists, friends, artists and all who believe that staying relevant means moving forward and making your voice heard – all who believe that fashion is not a way to just say ‘look at me’ but rather ‘look at me, I have something to say’.

Steven Meisel is the man behind the camera that took snaps of models like Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber, and Kris Grikaite. The campaign is not released yet, but you can start to prepare yourself for what’s coming with the new funny teaser video that teaches us how to properly pronounce “Versace”.
