Canadian Cinematic-signed newcomer Eryn Martin continues to soar through 2020 with the release of the latest Official Video to her new single “Middle Class.” With visuals that compliment her laid-back, colloquial lyrics and glitchy beats, Eryn takes us on a journey through midnight thrills and carefree evenings. She scatters the video with neon-lights, faulty TV sets playing cartoons on a loop and spray-painted school busses, reminiscent of adolescent pleasures. “It doesn’t matter how much money you have, it’s about how much fun you’re having. Shitty bars, and sketchy house parties will forever be my favourite memories. Reality is we’re broke but we party like the rich,” Martin confesses.
Eryn Martin has been carving her own musical path since 2017. Her 2019 single “Ball” set her straight on the path to success, amassing 3.3M Spotify streams to date. Both ethereal and glitchy, laid-back yet powerful, Martin’s sound is difficult to define. She weaves through the worlds of indie pop, hip-hop, spoken work and trap to create something unique to her name.
