UK based singer-songwriter Freddie Elmberg presents his intimate new single ‘The Bouncer’

Drawn to music at an early age, Freddie Elmberg was classically trained in both piano and violin, going on to tour throughout Europe with his London-based orchestra. Priding himself on being as authentic as possible and owning his unique sound,  Freddie’s love for classical composition shines throughout ‘The Bouncer’ with undeniable beauty.

Introducing himself with his 2021 debut single ‘Feel Again’, which continues to draw in listeners globally, Freddie has since collaborated with highly-regarded creatives  Jamie Hartman, Nolan Lambroza, Eg White, David Hodges as he gears up for the release of his highly anticipated debut project later this year.

‘The Bouncer’ is heavenly. Driven by a soft piano brimming with emotion, the keys provide a warm bed to one of Freddie’s most dynamic vocal performances to date as we are gifted with falsetto vocals and mesmeric character, to home his narrative.

The reality of the unexpectedness of being a bouncer. The sadness you see in the faces of random people. I can’t bring your boyfriend back to rescue you from swimming in your drunk tears. But can see you safe into a night taxi.

The piano and the vocal take the forefront of it all. With subtle, powerful production,  the whole song is lifted by the bass synths and production nuances.”

A music video will accompany the release of ‘The Bouncer’ bringing to life the concept of the single. Filmed in America, the backdrop to the video is just as beautifully thought out as the track itself, as we watch Freddie demonstrate his innate musicianship in a barren landscape.

“Within the video the doors that appear are random, each leading to a different place. Much like the randomness of being a bouncer and what’s going to ‘lie behind one door may not lie behind the other’. For the location we chose, it was within a  remote setting. The remoteness shares a similar feeling of being on your own in the cold working the doors. In its entirety, this video is an artistic metaphor of loneliness  and the unknown.”
