Another day, another fast riser from Canada to get excited about. This time we are talking about j.ember, a Toronto based newcomer who has captured our attention with dreamy new cut, Killer, Killer. Citing influences ranging from Blur to Joni Mitchell, Killer, Killer sees ember display his unique vocals over a striking soundscape. On the track, he explains;
I made ‘Killer Killer’ on a day where I clocked an embarrassing amount of screen time during the peak of Toronto’s lockdown. I felt exhausted but forced myself to write a song. It’s about boredom!
