Harleymoon Kemp, the rising singer-songwriter known for her evocative storytelling and vibrant performances, has just released her debut EP, ‘Lone Ranger’. The EP, available now, includes the title track and new single, accompanied by an official music video.
Following the success of her recent single ‘What Good Looks Like,’ which garnered significant media attention and featured at the Mayor of London’s St. George’s Day festival in Trafalgar Square, Harleymoon Kemp continues to captivate audiences with her authentic and heartfelt music. The track received coverage from major outlets including Hello, NOTION, Daily Star, and Daily Express.
The ‘Lone Ranger’ EP showcases Kemp’s versatility and depth as an artist. The title track is described as a dynamic and empowering anthem, while ‘Faith In You’ features a duet with Alex Francis, brother of James Bay, offering a warm and natural production. The final track, ‘America,’ adds a summer-pop vibe, using the American dream as a metaphor for new love.
Harleymoon expressed her hopes for the EP, stating, “The EP is just more encounters that I hope everyone makes their own.” She detailed the inspiration behind each song, from a brief encounter with a “total cowboy” for ‘Lone Ranger’ to the sense of security in ‘Faith In You,’ and the broad, optimistic narrative of ‘America.’
Drawing on personal experiences, Harleymoon wrote or co-wrote all four songs, infusing them with a distinct Brit flavour while appealing to fans of international country and pop influences like Maren Morris and Kacey Musgraves. Her collaborators include notable names like Charlie T, Barnabas Shaw, and Michelle Leonard.
Harleymoon’s previous singles, including the UK Country Music #1 ‘Space,’ have consistently resonated with fans, earning airplay on BBC and Absolute Country, and securing spots on key playlists across Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal.
With roots in a family of entertainers, including Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp and Shirlie Kemp of Wham!, Harleymoon has been immersed in music from a young age. She divides her time between London and Nashville, continually honing her craft.
This summer, Harleymoon Kemp will bring the ‘Lone Ranger’ EP to live audiences across a series of festivals, including Buck N Bull Brunch, Oceanfest, Cardiff Pride, and many more.
